Course Information
The 5K course and the 1 Mile course start and end on 4th Street at Convention Street in downtown Baton Rouge.
The 1 Mile course will turn around on Spanish Town Rd and return to the finish line.
The 5K course leads runners around the State Capital and Arsenal Park before returning to the finish.

COURSE TIME LIMITS
There is a 30 minute course limit to complete the 1 Mile Fun Run. There is a 90 minute course limit to complete the 5K race. This equates to a 29:00 min/mile pace, which is a comfortable walk. If you are unable to continue at this pace you will be helped into the SAG wagon and will be transported to the finish line. The roads MUST be opened on time and runners not meeting the expected pace will not be allowed to continue on their own.
The Baton Rouge Turkey Trot 5K will feature mile markers at every mile and one well-supported water station.
